Grown at elevations from 1,700 to 2,200 meters above sea level, coffee from Yirgacheffe mature slowly allowing additional time for the tree to deliver nutrients to the coffee and develop the best flavors.
These dense, Strictly High Grown (SHG) coffees are regarded among the best in southern Ethiopia, a region already well known for producing some of the finest coffee in the world.
Renowned for their bright citrus acidity with excellent sweetness, this particular batch of washed Yirgacheffe crafted by Ghostbird Coffee brings out the characteristic taste of the region with the additional notes of blackcurrant and lavender.
