Sidama Guji G1

Named after the Guji tribe of the Oromo people, Guji Zone is a relatively new administrative zone established in 2002 in the Oromia region of Ethiopia.

However, in terms of coffee, Guji is still designated as a Sidama A sub-region under the Ethiopian Commodity Exchange (ECX) classification.

Coffee from Guji was traditionally dry processed, but wet processing is increasingly becoming more common.

This particular coffee from Mimosa is a good example of a high quality wet-processed Guji, which highlights the delicate, floral notes for which Ethiopian coffees are well known for.
